Boundary Country rose to prominence during the early 1900s when it became the most important copper-producing region in the British Commonwealth.   Today, it offers some of North America’s most breathtaking, jaw-dropping alpine majesty.  Central British Columbia – Boundary Country articulates and accumulates the substance of our 23-year love affair with this western-most of Canadian provinces, and it will be an extraordinary biking trip.

This is a true cyclist’s ride; we will romp through out central British Colombia, over mountain passes and across rivers on a daily basis, always something else to wonder at and a few more miles to ride.

We assemble in Spokane and immediately van shuttle the short distance to Colville on our assembly day (day prior to tour departure).  We will head North for the first few days three days in the saddle, along the way we will stay in Trail, Nelson and finally Nakusp on the shore of Upper Arrow Lake.  Our next two days, we will hit the road hard as we head west to Lumby and Kamloops, which is epicenter of Canada’s active sports industry.

We will take a well deserved rest in Kamloops, with hiking and exploring options.  Rested we head to Merritt in the Nicola Valley at the confluence of the Nicola and Coldwater rivers. Then next day we continue South to Princeton and eventually Osoyoos in Canada’s wine country.  After we enjoy the hospitality of wine country, we cross back into the US to Republic.  And to dispel any thoughts that the final day is just a downhill cruiser, we’ll launch into a last historic climb to Sherman Pass (5,587’).  From Sherman’s summit, we can then say it is almost all downhill to Coleville.  We will end there and van shuttle back to Spokane where our Central British Columbia Cycling Tour concludes.
